Humberto Vanegas brings over 20 years of industry experience to his roles as CFO of Rivergate Companies and EDEN Multifamily, where he leads accounting, budgeting and financing initiatives. He established his local expertise with various Miami-based firms including CC Devco and The Related Group, where he developed a specialized knowledge of South Florida markets. In previous roles he was responsible for cash management, accounting and reporting, investor reporting, coordination of tax returns and audits, project financing, budget allocation and execution, project underwriting, real estate closings and human resources. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from University of Florida’s Fisher School of Accounting, as well as a master’s degree in accounting from Florida International University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and holds a Real Estate Sales License. Humberto lives in Miami, and when not counting beans, he loves spending time with his wife and two children.
